SDMS Utilities and User's GuideThe three Windows utilities use InstallShield to install themselves to your Windows system if you are using Internet Explorer. The software is safe. If you are asked whether you wish to download the file or run it from its current location, choose the latter. If you get a security warning stating that the object is unknown to the trust provider, simply click Yes to proceed with the installation. The DOS Utilities use a self-extracting image file to create the installation diskettes. Click on Install DOS Utilities below for more detailed information. If you are using a browser other than Internet Explorer, refer to the PCI Storage Device Management System SDMS 4.0 User's Guide for installation instructions. Utilities Information The LSI DMI Browser is a Distributed Management Interface (DMI) compliant management application for LSI mass storage elements. When using this tool, it is possible to connect to remote computers on a TCP/IP based network, and manage the storage elements attached to them. The managed elements include SCSI host adapters, SCSI peripheral devices, and SCSI device drivers installed on the computer.
