The LSI Logic SDMS Software Device Drivers and Utilities CD-ROM Release 4.7 This CD-ROM provides information about and software for the PCI Storage Device Management System (SDMS). Additionally, it offers LSI Logic product information. Browsing this CD-ROM is best accomplished with a browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer v3.0 or later, or Netscape 4.0 or later. To utilize the full functionality of the CD-ROM, Microsoft Internet Explorer is recommended. Netscape will work, but links that launch applications are disabled in Netscape. Utility Installations and Information This area contains utility instructions that work in conjunction with various operating systems. o Host Adapter Flash Utility updates the SDMS PCI SCSI BIOS on a host adapter. o SCSI BIOS Configuration Utility assists in changing adapter configurations as needed for specific systems. o SDMS DOS Utilities: SDMS SCSI Low-Level Format Utility allows low-level formatting of SCSI hard disk drives. SDMS DOS Verify Utility checks various hardware and software components. SDMS DOS Configuration Utility allows configuration of any DOS-based drivers. o NT Configuration Utility provides a mechanism used by Windows NT 4.0 to change selected configuration parameters of SCSI host adapters. o NT Workstation DV Service Module is a companion product to the NT Configuration Utility.
